Silco Sleeve® Firesleeves are engineered of high-quality
knitted or braided E-glass fiberglass yarns in a flexible
substrate, that are then coated with a high-grade, fully
cured silicone elastomer. These industrial and aerospacegrade
sleeves protect pipes, hoses, and cables from
temperatures continuously up to 500°F (260°C) along
with resistance to direct flame and molten splashes
up to 2,200°F (1,200°C).
Resistant to hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, and fuels,
the Silco Sleeve® Firesleeve is designed to insulate against
energy loss in piping and housing, protect employees from
burns, and allow the “bundling” of wires, hoses, and cables.
