The Emco Wheaton API Dust Caps are made from die cast aluminium and are easy to use. These dust caps are suitable for all API valves manufactured in accordance
with API RP1004.
They protect the poppet face of the API Adapter, prolongs its life, and adds an additional safety stop point. In countries following the ADR code of practice it is
mandatory to fit a third stop valve; the F0499 dust cap is pressure tested to comply with this code.
